When it comes to dental insurance, more and more dentists are deciding to go out-of-network so they aren’t restricted to performing dental work within the financial and pre-approval constraints of contracts they have with in-network insurance companies. 

People whose insurance companies force them to receive oral care from dentists only on their lists of providers frequently discover that few or none of those dentists, for whatever reason, appeal to them. Those individuals may then wind up being denied the oral care they want and require. They also may end up not seeking dental care at all. 

Ahwatukee Dentistry knows how important good dental care is to a person’s overall health. Which is why we choose to participate in many out-of-network dental insurance plans. 

In-network companies have treatment limitations that can be harshly strict. For example, it’s very frustrating and annoying when you need a type of procedure that must first be approved by your insurance company before the dentist can move forward on it. That bureaucracy causes irritating delays for you and your dentist. 

There’s also the chance that the insurance company will insist that, for whatever reason, you receive an alternative (and perhaps less effective) type of treatment. It’s also possible that your procedure will be outright denied! You won’t receive any treatment! 

Don’t let your in-network insurance hold you hostage!
