Dr. Lanie grew up in West Lafayette, IN. She earned her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, at Indiana University Bloomington. Go Hoosiers! She then moved to Chicago, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove. Dr. Lanie worked in downtown Chicago for one year prior to making the cross-country move to Arizona.
Since living in Arizona, she has worked for two private practices in the North Scottsdale and Paradise Valley areas as an associate dentist over the past 3 years. She is now ready to make her practice-owner dreams a reality and is very excited to start this journey with all of you existing (and new!) patients.
Dr. Lanie and her fiancé recently moved to the Ahwatukee Foothills area, and they absolutely love it here. She is looking forward to starting and raising a family here and becoming a pillar of the community as a local family dentist.
Dr. Lanie’s philosophy as a provider is to be compassionate, conservative, and innovative. She makes it a priority to always stay up to date on the cutting-edge technology available and pursuing continuing education to further her expertise in all facets of dentistry. She makes it her goal to cater to each patient’s specific needs and make sure that they feel heard, taken care of, and understood. Her favorite procedures are cosmetic dentistry and surgery, but she mostly looks forward to the day-to-day of getting to know her patients and building lasting relationships.
In her free time, Dr. Lanie enjoys going camping with her fiancé and two Mini Australian Shepherds, Scotch and Archie. She also likes to explore different hikes around the valley and trying out new recipes. She is looking forward to meeting you and beginning, or maintaining, your journey to dental health together.
